|  | | | Facts | Installing Fibrous Plaster Products The following is a general guideline that should be followed when installing our products, we recommend gluing and screwing all products. - All surfaces and areas that are to be worked with should be clean and dry.
- Areas for fixing cornices should be as flat as possible.
- Cut cornice to size & mitre accordingly.
- Counter sink screw holes into the most appropriate places, for cornices approximately every metre on the wall and ceiling.
- Mark out and place guide nails into position on the wall to hold the cornice while being fixed.
- Liberally smooth on adhesive and place product into position onto guide nails.
- Drive screws securely.
- Remember to remove any excess adhesive and to keep your work area clean.
- When fixing adjoining cornices allow a slight gap, this will prevent cracking.
- Fill in any holes and joins with plaster.
- Allow to dry completely, you are then ready to paint.
